Nordic Fusion is seeking a full time, permanent Business Development Manager for their Wholesale business division. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for beautiful and high quality home ware and fashion products. Nordic Fusion has an excellent reputation for its Scandinavian designer products and is a growing business with lots of opportunities for the right person.

 

The role is based in the Northern Beaches of Sydney and requires regular travel to most parts of Australia. The role of business development manager will be accountable for

 

  • Developing new business with Wholesale customers for Nordic Fusion products and promoting a positive brand image for the company
  • Managing positive relationships with existing Wholesale customers and ensuring their long term satisfaction and retention.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and
  • Communicating, reporting and managing high quality purchase and customer information

 

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience

 

  • Solid sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Well-developed skills in sales and business development including the fundamental basics of prospecting, appointment setting, closing and getting referrals.
  • Ease in dealing with, or learning new, database management, CRM management, calendar management and reporting systems and software (standard and custom).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop contacts and referrals to build a strong potential customer database
  • Ability to handle and develop solutions to objections.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • High level of organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent people skills – must be able to build sustainable relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Ability to apply relevant commercial judgment to business decisions and to set and adhere to budgets.
